About:China Family Reunion Visa

UK to China Entry Requirements

I am a British national who is married to a Chinese national and our home is in Chengdu. However, I got trapped in the UK when my return flight got cancelled in 2020, my Residence Permit expired, the Consulate closed and Tourist visas got suspended. I am very confident that I would qualify for either a Q1 or maybe a Q2 visa now being offered.

I understand that there are currently no direct flights, as recommended, between London and China but that a one stop flight might be permissable. If so, how can I determine which one stop flights qualify and what the requirements/proceedures are that apply to one stop flights?

Just go to the nearest Chinese embassy in UK. They should be able to consult you. As for visa, you can get Q1 or Q2 no problem. You can get to China through Hong Kong. There are direct flights there.
