About:Marriage Registration in China

How to get a visa to get back to my wife in China?

I was married Sept. 4 2020 in Wuhan. Shortly after I had to come back to the US. I have been trying for 13 months to get a marriage/family visit/ any visa that I may qualify for. How do I go back to my wife in China?I have all neccesary documents, and have been fully vaccinated, yet the consulate in Chicago will not process my application.PLEASE HELP.

It's possible for you to get a family visa. But god knows. The embassy is very careful issuing visas at present because of the pandemic. Good luck~

I know this might be a long shot, but I am currently in the process of getting my visa to teach English. If you have no other option it might be an option to do a online TEFL course mine took a few months but I’m sure you can get through it quicker and then apply for work in China on a Z visa. I know this is not ideal but might be a option for you to be with your wife.
