r type visa & s2 visa for wife

Question

Hello,I have received confirmation letter highly qualified talent and will be applying for an R type Visa to work for a company that has offered me a job in China.Do I have to wait for my R type Visa to be authorized before applying for an S2 Visa for my wife or can we do the application together simultaneously?We plan to go there together.

You can do the application together simultaneously but I'm not sure whether your wife can get this S2 visa because it is not issued to most people at present.
