can i get a student visa as dutch student?

Currently I am studying at the University of Amsterdam and I have been accepted to do an exchange at Tsinghua University upcoming September. Is there a possibility that they will approve my Visa application or is the chance zero? I read some news articles that China is closing its borders for another year or so...

Rosie, actually you can have a try. You may ask the school to issue you an invitation letter to help you with the visa application process.
