lost passport

Hi, I am a person who applied for the scholarship of CSC from the Chinese government to the embassies of the country. In particular, I am applied for master degree this year in 2021. Unfortunately When I done the process of application I lost my passport then the immigration gave me a new passport with different passport ID to my previous passport, so it will effect the visa that i want to get? Thank you

If you can provide a document issued by an authority proving that you have lost passport, it will be fine.
