About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Want to live in China

Hi, me (HK permanent resident holding China re-entry permit) & my husband (British) want to move & live in China, we are both currently live in UK. What is the best way to apply for the visa? Do I first need to go to live in China first? Also is it correct he can't work in China? If he want to work, what can he do to get a visa? He don't have any special skills or degree.

Mandy, he can apply for an S1 visa as your spouse, but it is not allowed to work under this visa. If he wants to work, he should get a Z visa, which requires a bachelor's degree.
