M to z visa conversion

Can i enter china on business visa and then apply for work visa and then work permit?

If i enter on business visa m and then in china convert to work z visa , will i have to exit china when i change visa status ?

How do i apply for work permit ?

Leo, it is possible to enter China on a business visa and then apply for a work permit, then convert your business to a work Z visa. If you can get the Z visa successfully, you don't need to exit from China to change the visa status. You can get this work permit with the help of your employer.
