Question

Hi there, I got a job from a company from chinese employer. Employer is asking me to get there first in business visa and then i can get resident permit later i go back to my home country for applying work visa? Is it okay to get me there in a business visa? or I need to have only work permit to get paid?

It's okay to get a business visa first and then change it to a work visa in China. However, if you plan to work in China, you had better apply for a work visa directly.
