I am English teacher With 13yrs experience. How can I get residence permit or apply for employment

Have been teaching English for 10yrs. I want to teach English in China as an American citizen. How do get employment authorization or the legal right to work?Also, how can I apply for residence permit or obtain residence permit to live and work in China?

Edward, to be legally work in China, you can apply for a work visa. And after you enter China with the work visa, you can apply for a residnece permit at the local exit and entry administration.
