About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Visiting my GF in China after the covid 19 crisis cross border closure ended.

Usually for last 6 years my visit to China as a Singaporean lasted less than 15days as my singapore passport allow 15 days visa free. Thus this time i decided to visit her and might stay over at her family hometown to discuss about marriage. So might do other sightseeing and visit friends in other cities. Which visa would you suggest for me? Can long term visiting visa open a chinese bank account for local usage like payment for meals, train tickets as i dont like carrying much cash. Pls advise.

Dear, actually you are only eligible for a tourist visa, but now due to the COVID, China does not issue tourist visas, so you have to wait.

You don't need to open a Chinese bank acount as many supermarkets and restaurants accpets foreign debit and credit cards.
