Z VISA APPLICATION

Dear Sir/Madam,

Got a job offer to Shanghai and collecting documents needed for visa application. Question:

1. My academic certifications is from Australia. Where should I get it notarised? China Embassy?
2. Criminal record certification, once I get it from the police station do I also need to get it notarised? And by China Embassy as well?
3. PU letter is mandatory?
4. I was told I need to go a health check here in Malaysia. Are there any panel hospital approved by China Embassy and do I need to get this notarised as well?

Thank you very much!

Dear Jean,

Let me help you on this matter as I also went through the same process months ago. Police clearance certificate is to be applied through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Putrajaya. You need to log in the consular(Ministry of Foreign Affairs website) and fill in the necessary forms, once submitted they will need few weeks to process it and once done you will be notified thru email to collect the certificate in the ministry of foreign affair.

For PU letter, it is a MUST. Additional info, to get the PU letter, your company must also provide an Emergency Proof letter to state that your service is urgently needed.

Lastly, your academic certificate/transcript/records must be authenticated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs too.

From what I see, you still have a long way to go considering that many of these offices too are yet to resume their operation, so good luck.
