Bringing a spouse to China if I’m a visa holder..

Hello. I am an American English teacher considering a move to China to teach ESL. My husband is Syrian. If I have employment and a work visa, can he accompany me? Are spouses granted visas? Thank you.

Currently, your spouse can apply for an S1 visa only if he can get a PU or TE letter from China.
