About:China Family Reunion Visa

Can my wife, a Chinese national citizen living in US, invite me, her husband, for family reunion?

I had a 10 year q2 visa with three years remaining on a 120 day multiple entry stay that expired after automatic 60 day extension account covid-19 while in China in June 2020, so had to apply and received a 120 day one time visa to guarantee time to get an air reservation to return to US, which we did. I was not told if I could apply for another 10 year Q2 visa at that time, which I would have, but was told that I would have to apply for a new visa when we returned to US, which we are attempting to do, but so far with no success by conversations with consulate personnel. Is the consulate issuing any as of this date now? Would it be worth applying without knowing or certain? My wife, a Chinese nation citizen, and I, both would like to return by Spring Festival 2021.

Currently, I'm afraid you cannot get a Q2 visa because of the epidemic situation.
