Have a contract for a house that will be completed and delivered in one and a half years

Hi, I just found out that I need to get the Green card within the next year and a half, or I will have to quit working in China. I have been living in China for 14 years and married for 7. Just before this my wife and I sold our house in her hometown and bought a new house that won't be completed and given to us until May of 2022. We thought that we could use this new house to qualify, but are having difficulty getting the contract notarized. Can we qualify with this new house contract?

Eric, yes, I think you still have chance to apply for the green card.
