About:China Private Visit Visa

Residence permit

I have z visa and my husband already has S1 visa. How can he convert his S1 visa to residence permit? Can he just go to exit/entry bureau by himself and apply for a residence permit? Or my employer has to apply for him? And what documents does he need to provide?

Ana, he need to go to the exit/entry bureau by himself within the 30 days after entry to apply for a residence permit. The documents may include his passport, application form, registration form of temporary residence, and your marriage certificate, your passport and Z visa copies.
