About:China Family Reunion Visa

Q2

I am a chinese canadian holding a Q2 visa issued in 2017. I am unsure of the expiration date but on the passport it says enter before august 2026 and M entries. Does that mean I can still travel to china now or before 2026 without applying for any new visas, despite COVID and all?

Also since I have gotten the visa I married a foreigner, if I want her to come with me to China does she still need to go through the Q2 application process or can it be simplified since she's my wife?

Any Chinese visas issued before March 28th 2020 are invalid due to Covid. So you won't be able to use your old Q2 visa.
