Authentication of my certificate

I am Lebanese, I am currently living in the UK. I don't have the British Passport yet. My highest degree was issued in Lebanon and authenticated from the Ministry of foreign affairs. Can I authenticate my documents in the Chinese Embassy in London? Or I have to do them in my home country. Knowing that I am living in the UK from 4 years.
