I want to legalise my Police Character Certificate

I am a Nigerian, working as lecturer at Birmingham City University and have been posted to China to lecture at BIFCA, Wuhan Textile University. I need to legalise police character certificate to send to my employers who will work for my work permit in China. I want to know if the Embassy in Nigeria is open for Legalization
