Will I be able to get a visitor visa to China right now to visit a close friend of mine?

Are there any Visa Restrictions due to the current COVID-19 situation? If yes, do you know when the travel bans will be lifted? Thank you very much

It's not allowed to enter China now just for visiting a close friend. When the travel bans will be lifted remains unknown.
