About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit
Permanent Residence Married to Chinese and lived 9 months annually but now outside of China
We are married for more than 8 years. I have resided in China with my wife for the last 5 calendar years (2016-2020) 9 months annually (total 55 months) in China but both of us have now moved abroad to another Asian country for my work. In 2020 we left China at the end of September, meaning two days short to reach the 9 months for this year. My old residence permit (in passport) is theoretically valid until February 2021 but I believe it will be canceled soon as I have left the Chinese company and the country 10 days ago.
Am I eligible for a permanent residence permit and if yes how can I proceed?
