About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

My parents need to have their passport renewed. Do they have to apply in person?

My mom is 86 and very weak. She is not able to walk, and can only be in wheelchair for short time. Does she need to be there in person to apply for the passport renewal?

Sorry, the applicant has to go to the embassy in person.
