About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Asked by Richard from Ghana

I am a graduate and I’ve been searching for flights for the past one month. I was given a humanitarian visa for a month and I still couldn’t get an affordable ticket. My visa expired 2nd October and I got a letter from my embassy to go and extend my visa but the immigration refused to give me because they’re saying they don’t want to extend visas for graduates anymore but there are no affordable tickets at the moment and I have a letter from my embassy to extend my visas yet they refused and no they leave me with no option than to overstay. What should I do?

Richard, you have to fly back to your country as soon as possible to not cause more troubles.

Richard I'm in a similar situation like yours, what you need to do is to go back to the school you graduated from, and explain your situation and show them the embassy letter as well..my school where I graduated from they have been helping me since I graduated.
