I read this information and I needed to ask if only 3  three cities are included for the 144 hour pass? I was needing to know because I plan to head to Beijing or Tinjin.

Richard, yes, the 144 hour policy is only carried in three places currently: Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. If you want to transit in Beijing or Tianjin, the 72 hour free transit may be applicable to your travel.
