About:Marriage Registration in China

Apply a new reunion visa?

[foreign nationals holding valid Chinese residence permits for work, personal matters, and reunion can enter China without applying for new visas]
I’m now in Malaysia and my husband is in China. We have register marriage in China last year before I came back Malaysia for CNY. I’m back in January 2020 and have applied for reunion visa (Q1) when I will fly to China at February. Then the pandemic hits.... then just now found out this news, and checked my reunion visa was expired on April 2020 as I got it done on January. So I can apply for a new reunion visa now right?

Yes, I have confirmed with the China Embassy in Malaysia. They said I apply for a new Reunion Visa. Then they advised me to check with the imigresen side, whether they allow me to go overseas. And they don’t allow “reunion gathering with family” by now. The news is on 15/9/2020. Just get to know this just now when I called and I guess I need to wait for now. And they say I can try to appeal for my situation.
