Thanks for your reply, so what documents should we provide for reapplication of visa in Embassy with our yet to expire resident permit visa? My work permit card is still valid and what my wife and kids need to provide too?

You need to ask your employer to get a PU or TE invitation letter stating that your wife, kids, and you all need to go back to China soon.
