About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Spouse PR

It states, living in China for the last 5 years in a row, minimum 9 months in country. Is there certain visa categories that are acceptable to satisfy this requirement or is it simply a calculation of time in/out of country?

I spent January to May 2019 on a Working Resident Permit, and June 2019- August 2020 on a Q2 Visa. Leaving for things like vacation and as necessary to remain legal. Will this time count for two years towards the PR 5 year requirement?

Married to a Chinese citizen since 2013.

Alex, I think you qualify for the Permanent Residence Permit of China if you have a house there as well.

I wonder how Ada thinks you can get a permit given you appear to be nowhere near satisfying the pre 5 years rule. Great if you can. My situation is similar and hence my interest.
