About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Would I be able to get a Chinese Visa after banned from entering for 5 years?

I had a criminal record in China and spent 6 months in detention camp (end of 2018 to mid 2019), and deported back to my home country and received a letter that I cannot enter China for 5 the next 5 years. My question is that, after 5 years, will I be able to get a Chinese Visa? Thanks

Yes, it's possible, but the chance is not big.
