About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

Long time expat living in China for 13 years

Hi there,
Im an expat living in China for 13 years, have been working in design industry most of that time and am married to a Chinese citizen. Is it possible to get permanent residence under spouse reunion category but continue to work?

Yes, after you get permanent residence, you can continue to work.

Thanks Ken. Does this mean this type of visa allows working in China, or is it neccessary to have a special working visa? I have had a normal spousal visa in the past but could not be employed unless on an actual working visa.

The permanent residence allows you to work in China.
