Hi im currently on a Q2 visa which will expire in Nov, i have been living in China with my chinese wife since 2012, and we have been married for more than five years. i would like to apply for permenant residence permit, but how can i prove i have a 'stable income' since i cant work on a Q2 visa. would it work if i was to submit my savings as a 'stable income'? and if yes, how much would i need to show?

Thanks in advance!!

Yes, you can. There is no regulation on the amount of your balance. If you own a house in China, it will be better.
