work visa with a degree equivalent qualification

Hello, I am looking to get a work visa soon for China (when COVID is over) and I know there is a requirement to have a bachelor degree. I have seen in one or two places it saying: BA or equivalent. I have a UK diploma which is at the same level as a university degree. Does anyone know or experienced this to see if it is acceptable for a Z visa?

I think it is acceptable, but you need to contact your employer to confirm this at the local human resource and social security bureau.
