Hi thank you for your reply. Where can we find details of the Q visa? We live in the UK , can she apply for the Q visa at the Chinese consulate here? And is the Certificate of Permanent Residence of Aliens also a possibility for her ? Thanks!

Hi, if I die my wife will want to return to China and remain there permanently with her family (mother , sisters + her son who is now 33).She will be 60 later this year. Is the best plan for her to get a Q1 visa her in the UK , then go to China and apply for Permanent Resident Permit in her home town ?
Thank you so much for your help.
