About:Overstaying in China & Penalty
After the 60 extended stay due to Covid19 is it 10 days or 30 days that can be granted by the local
I'm in Changde city, Hunan P, and at the end of the 60 day Covid19 grace period. When my Chinese wife inquired at the local Bureau of Exit and Entry, they told her that I need to return one week before the expiration date of July 9 and they could only give ten more days. But, everything we read says people are being given 30 extra days to secure exit flights several weeks in advance.
