Details on travel to China mainland

I am a Singapore citizen, I may have to travel to Shanghai for visiting a gravely ill family member. Is it possible to obtain a visa that allows me to stay there for 3 months with a single entry? Do I need to provide any other documents to obtain the visa?

Additionally, am I required to quarantine?

Thank you for your response.
