visa not expiring but stay is during covid-19 what countries can I do Visa Run?

1. can i change a non-expiring 10 year multi-entry visa into a 1 year temporary resident permit? I have a 2 year one previously.
2. If not, what countries are people doing their stay. I have 180 days stay expiring soon and not sure which countries or provinces are still available that I do not need to quarantine for 14 days there and then quarantine back in China for 14 days when I come back.

Basically, I'm stuck and need help. Please help. I will be going to local PSB tomorrow but was hoping you could advise.

Joe, you cannot change your 10-year visa to a temporary resident permit. However, it's not wise to leave for other countries as well. You had better seek any possibility in extending your stay length at the local exit and entry administration without leaving China.

Eric is right, the only COVID19 cases are from Chinese returning from abroad, so the gov here (China) is very concern with anyone coming back. I don't know if this will help you, but here it is.
I finished my 3 year contract as a foreign expert and I'm waiting for my passport from the Immigration office in Pudong, Shanghai. The Human Resources guy from my company who took me to the immigration building is helping me for the 30 day visa extension and told me that as a Government Decree, even though my passport will show July 10 as the expiration date for the extension, it will automatically be extended for an extra 60 days due to the COVID19 mess around the world, and the good part is I don’t even need to go back to do anything. So, I don't know if this will also apply to you, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask when you go to them. I'll certainly take advantage of this little gift. Cheers.
