About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Can I issue a student visa without resident permit?

I was studying in Shanghai and held a student visa. I got stucked here in the Philippines so I don't have a resident permit. When the embassy starts to issue visas again, would I be allowed to get a new chinese visa from here? Or should I go back to Mexico to issue it?

Antonio, when the Chinese border is reopened, if your residence permit is still valid, you can use it to enter China. If it expires, you need to apply for a new visa. You can possibly get it from the Philippines.
