About:China Private Visit Visa

S1 visa application within China

Hi, my partner and I are planning to get married in China.
He currently has an X1 and I have a Z visa.
Can he apply for the S1 visa after we get our marriage certificate? Can he do it within China?

If not S1, can he apply for a business visa within China?

After you get married, he can possibly change his X1 visa to an S visa within China if his study ends.
