Will a 30 day stay visa extension cancel my current multi entry L visa?

Hi
I have almost reached the end of my government imposed 69 day extension to my Chinese tourist L visa. If I apply for 30 day extension at local PSB, will it cancel my current 2 year multi entry visa?

Richard, yes, from what I heard recently, it will cancel your current visa. You can futher confirm this with the local exit and entry administration.

Yes. You cant have multiple valid visas. Regardless if your current visa is 10 years, they will cancel it and issue a 30-90 day visa, which needs to be renewed 10+ days prior to expiration, but only if you qualify under business or family related criteria. Otherwise, you will be told to exit China before it expires.
