About:China Visa

Visa on arrival, Shenzhen

Hello! :-)

My work visa expired during my time outside China, and due to the virus I was not able to go back before the borders closed. So in order to extend my work visa, will it be possible for me to apply for a 5 day visa on arrival to Shenzhen? This applies when the borders to China open.

Maria, you cannot extend your work visa since it has already expired. After the borders to China is opened, you can get a visa on arrival to Shenzhen, but the chance to get a work visa within mainland China is not big given that you only have a VOA at hand.
