affect of 2 month visa extension?

Question

I am Australian citizen and have a 12 month L visa with 90 day stays. Visa expires on 21 May 2020. Next 90 day stay, expires on 10 May 2020. If I leave China and go to Macau for hour or so and return before 21 May, I can stay for another 90 days. But can I return to mainland China? Alternatively how does 2 month automatic visa extension affect me

George, sorry, you can not return to mainland China as China has not lifted the ban for foreigners' entering yet. If you remain staying in China, the 2-month automatic visa extension may start from May 21, but you had better confirm with the local Exit and Entry Administration to not overstay in China.
