About:China Visa

2nd 2 month extension.

Hey,
I'm currently holding a M Visa until end of June, 60 days each stay.
On the 5 th of March I already got the automatical extension of two month die to corona. Is it possible to get a second extension (05.07)?
I already have gone to the Entry Exit bureau two weeks ago, but they couldn't give me an answer by then.

Many thanks

Leander

Leander, if the officers can't give you an exact answer, others can't give you the answer either. I advise you to keep attention on the latest news. There must be a solution.

At this point no new policies have been announced on extending the automatic extension, so your only choice as of now is to file for an extension voluntarily. It is up to them, however, to grant that extension. Extending a short-term visa requires proof of funds in almost all places while extending a residence permit is easier.

Do you mean if your residence permit expires you can go before the time to any Chinese Embassy outside of China and apply for an Extension?

Im stranded in Bangkok and my residence permit expires on the 22 nd of May 2020? Not sure how i will re-enter China as my contract was terminated due to the pandemic but my Zvisa expires on 7th July 2020
