10yr Visa 120 Day duration- COVID Extension

So I’m currently in Shengyang on a 10 year tourist visa with a duration of stay that is for 120 days. My duration stay ends on May 28. Am I able to get the 60 day extension they are offering on visas? And if I get the extension will my 10yr visa be effected? Will I loose the 10year visa?
will the 60 days extension done automatically, meaning no need to do anything?
Otherwise, what am i supposed to do for that 60 days extension? By the way, what is local NIA office stand for?

Thank you in advance!

Sam

You will get the 60-day extension as long as China has not altered or cancelled the policy before then. The extension is automatic and you don't need to do anything. The effect on your 10-year visa is unclear and you can double-check that with the local NIA office, but it can be assumed that it won't affect your existing visa, as there won't be an application for this extension.
