About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Z VISA

Hello, I am an American visiting Seoul but I plan to work in China next month. I have not yet received my work permit but it is in the process of being approved. Is it possible to apply for the Chinese Z visa while staying in Seoul? If so, what are the required documents?

Thank you.

Yes, it's possible. The required documents include your passport, work permit, application form, passport size photo and your visa for South Korea if you have it.

My parents are uk nationals but have residency permits in china. My father works for a university there. They are staying in South Korea on a short term visa. They are trying to get back into China.

1. Can they apply for a z visa right now under covid restrictions at the Chinese embassy?

2. If not, can they apply for a z visa at the Chinese embassy in Seoul once travel restrictions are lifted?
