Is China still issuing visas for tourism?

Also, are there any nationality or other limitations to apply for the 6 months or one year tourist visa?

Dani, as far as I know, China is still issuing visas for tourism. Usually if you hold a fresh passport or you go to China for the first time, it's not very likely that you can get a 6 months or one year tourist visa.
