Yes, you are qualified for 144-hour visa free if your sailing routes are USA - Beijing - Tianjin - Korea and Korea - Shanghai - USA. For Beijing and Tianjin part, you can apply the visa free on arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport. For Shanghai part, you can apply it at Pudong Airport, Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal or Wusong Passenger Transport Center. It depends on where you will arrive at.
