Hi, can tourist still visit Beijing?

We have a trip to Thailand with stop over in Beijing for 4 days from 7th of April. And I am wondering if we be allowed in? Thank you

If the travel route is UK - Beijing - Thailand, then you can because you are eligible for the 144 hours visa free policy.
