About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Transfer from R type visa to PR

I have been living in Anhui for a little over 2 years, I entered on an R type visa and have a work permit and resident permit for work. I was imported as a technical expert to set up and run a new manufacturing plant, in effect I am also the general manager of the plant. My wife of five years is Chinese and we have a son who is Chinese.
Will I be eligible for PR?

According to the latest news, you may become eligible for China's OR.

You may be eligible under existing rules but you won't know for sure until you contact the National Immigration Administration office in your place of residence. New rules won't take effect anytime soon after the amount of backlash they received from Chinese netizens.
