chinese visa expiring from home

i am a student in zhenjiang city, jiangsu province, i went back home because of the nCV, what happens if my visa expires from home??? since i didnt finish paying my school fees for my current academic year?? can i be able to get the 30 days permit from the chinese embassy in my country(Zambia)?

You should already have a residence permit at this point. If it expires then you need a new X1 visa. As of now this is still the rule.
