Can I apply for Q1 visa with the married license card

Hi next month me and my fiancé will go back to China to apply for our married licenses card. I’m wondering if we need to do the wedding first before i can apply for Q visa? Because my visa is only for 15 days as a tourist...

It doesn't matter whether if you do the wedding after you apply for a Q visa. The thing is that you need to register your marriage before applying for a Q visa, so that you can show the marriage certificate to prove your relationship.

I see .. but I’m also wondering how long to receive the approval of Q visa if i only have 15 days to stay.

Usually it may take 7 to 10 working days, but 15 days are tight to handle this.

What will I do if after my 15 days is over and I still not yet get my Q visa ? If I go back to Philippines they will still process my application for Q visa ?

You will have to leave China and apply for a Q visa from your home country.

Ok I know ... thank you for the answer. Can i have last question? I read the china embassy site about the requirements to get married in china , but the information is not specific. Broth certificate, certificate of single , no criminal record, academic credentials and other . I’m not sure what I need to present in no criminal record and academic credentials. I have here my NBI clearance and Diploma and birth certificate and proof of single . Is that okay as a requirement???
