Renewing q1 visa

Hello, I’m wondering if there is the possibility to renew the q1 visa or apply for a new one after it runs out? And what makes me eligible for a 5 year q1 visa?

You are not renewing your Q1 visa itself but your residence permit, and that is the jurisdiction of your local National Immigration Administration. The issuance of 5-year residence permits is currently seen only in Shanghai and Guangdong province.
