About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Qualifying for a 144-hour visa-free visit?

After a week stay in Thailand (coming from the Netherlands and holding a Dutch passport), i plan to travel with a direct flight from Bangkok to Shanghai where I will stay (way) less than 144 hours before flying back to Amsterdam, Netherlands with a direct flight. Does this qualify for a 144-hour visa-free visit? I have my doubts as my next destination is 'home town' Amsterdam again. But I am coming to Shanghai from Bangkok after a week stay there... Thanks in advance for any clarification!

As long as it's country A - Mainland China - country C you will qualify if you will only have one stop in Mainland China. However if your transit time is less than 24 hours you will only get 24-hour transit which is at immigration's discretion.
